How to Screen Print

Screen Printing is in a league of it's own. It's as much an art as it is a science and as you learn to master the 3 main skills involved in screen printing, you can level up your prints and your capabilities.

That said, there are several different ways of screen printing, each with their own benefits (try Googling "screen printing" and then add a random country to see for yourself!)

Let's start with the 3 main steps in screen printing. We'll be making individual videos on each step very soon. Stay tuned

Screen

As you might have guessed, the screen is super important in screen printing. This includes the mesh count, how you make the screen and the size of the screen.

Ink

The ink could be as simple as a basic plastisol ink you buy right off the shelf to a more complex water based ink with additives and effects. It all depends on what you're screen printing and the desired result.

Print

You can either print manually or on an automatic press. In both options the main variables are squeegee angle, pressure and speed.
